Soft Sensors by Lara Grant

June 10, 2010

Lara Grant, a graduate of NYU’s Interactive Telecommunications Program at NYU, fuses the digital world with physical experience. Grant’s thesis focused on applying tactile elements to the digital experience. Using colored felt, Grant’s creations are alien-like, however beckon you to cuddle, poke or prod. Watch out, because you might get a response! Check out Grant’s portfolio and blog for more furry creations.

RIFLE is a paper goods, design, and illustration company headed up by Anna Bond and based in Winter Park, FL. The “inspiration palette no. 1 – vintage apothecary” post caught my eye. What a great way to start the creative engines roaring. I will have to keep this in mind.
